All items must be returned new, unused and in perfect resaleable condition. Products must be in their undamaged product packaging, as this is considered part of the product. If the packaging has been opened it must not have been damaged. Items that are returned to us remain your responsibility until received by us and a refund will not be given until we have received them in perfect resaleable condition. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.
Returns must be made within 14 days of the original date of delivery.
Our UK tracked returns service is completely free if you keep items from your order exceeding £20. If you do not keep items exceeding £20 we will deduct £3.95 from your refund towards the cost of our UK tracked returns service. If you wish, you can return your items to us using another delivery service at your own cost. We would highly recommend using a recorded or signed for delivery service and retain proof of postage.
Our UK tracked returns service does not apply to items that are too large for the tracked Royal Mail service that we offer. These items include baby gyms, moses baskets, Skip Hop play mats, Cocoonababy nests and furniture. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com if you wish to check whether your item is eligible for this offer.
For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on any opened mattresses, baby nests or bedding, or any items from our healthcare or food ranges. Furniture can only be returned if it has not been unpacked.
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If your item is faulty when you receive it, please email us as soon as possible after receiving it at firstname.lastname@example.org. Me & Buddy will only refund the original cost of delivery if the item was faulty when you received it. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Discount codes can only be applied once to an order. Therefore, discount codes cannot be reused following the return of an item against which they were applied.
We cannot offer exchanges. If you wish to receive a replacement for any item, please return the unwanted item according to our returns procedure above and place a new order for the desired item.
Any returns of gifts will result in a refund issued to the purchaser's original payment method. We regret that we cannot offer exchanges nor issue gift cards in exchange for returned gifts, however the purchaser can place another order on behalf of the recipient.
Additional or subsequent returns from the same order will be at the expense of the customer (if the Royal Mail service is used, a charge of £3.95 per additional label will be deducted from the refund).
We continually monitor returns made by customers and, in certain circumstances, returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion or lead to the closure of your Me & Buddy account.
Returned items repurchased
In general, we do not allow the repurchasing of items previously returned, and such orders will be cancelled. A refund for an item purchased more than once by a customer will be based on the lowest price paid by that customer for that item, regardless of which order number the returned item is purported to relate to. If the same item has been purchased in separate orders and one is returned, we furthermore reserve the right to deduct the applicable delivery cost and a return cost of £3.95 from such a refund. We may also close the customer's account.
Depending on where you live, you can also choose to cancel your order under the CCRs (Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). If you choose this option you must request a return within 14 days of your delivery date and the item must be received by us within 14 days of the request. Under the CCRs we will refund you the full price for any returned item that meets our Returns Policy and an original delivery fee based on our lowest price delivery option; however, you will be responsible for the cost and arrangement of returning the item(s) to us. Our UK returns service will not be available.
We reserve the right to refuse to offer free UK returns. In such instances the cost of returning items to us will remain the responsibility of the customer.
