SENDING A GIFT?

When you're sending a gift, you want to be sure that your recipient gets the "wow" factor when they receive their present.

At Me & Buddy we totally understand that, which is why every single one of our packages come beautifully gift wrapped in premium white tissue paper for no extra charge.

You can add a gift message as you check out, and this will be included in the package.

Our free standard delivery takes 2-3 days, but if you want it to get there more quickly you can select our next-day tracked delivery option for only £5.95 (free over £75).

 

UNITED KINGDOM

  • FREE Standard Royal Mail recorded delivery (2-3 business days) on orders over £20 (£2.95 on orders under £20)
  • FREE Express tracked DPD next day delivery (1 hr delivery window by SMS) on orders over £75 (£5.95 on orders under £75)

Orders received before 2pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 2pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the following business day. Orders received on a Saturday, Sunday or a bank holiday will be dispatched the following business day.

 

INTERNATIONAL

We have negotiated very competitive standard tracked and express tracked worldwide shipping rates. To keep it simple, we have just two rates for EU countries and two rates for Rest of World countries.

  • EU standard tracked delivery (3-7 business days) - £7.95
  • EU express tracked delivery (2-3 business days) - £14.95
  • Rest of World standard tracked delivery (4-8 business days) - £14.95 
  • Rest of World express tracked delivery (2-4 business days) - £29.95

Orders received before 10am Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 10am Monday to Friday will be dispatched the following business day. Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or a bank holiday will be dispatched the following business day.

 

 

    Duty payments and customs

    Products delivered to destinations outside the EU may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the products is responsible for all customs formalities for their export and import, and will be required to pay any additional charges, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges. The recipient of the goods, not the person who has ordered them, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges.

    If you're ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they're aware they'll be responsible for these additional charges. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we're unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We'd advise that you check the import charges applicable in any country before ordering products to be delivered there.

     

    VAT

    All prices shown on the website for both products and delivery services are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT. The total price you pay us for products is always the same, regardless of whether or not UK VAT is chargeable on the sale.

    Where you have requested delivery to an EU address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will include VAT at the appropriate rate.

    Where you have ordered products for delivery to a non-EU address, both the products and the delivery service will be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either. However, the price paid by you for the products and delivery services will remain the same as shown on the website.

     

    Unsuccessful Deliveries

    If items are returned to us after two or more unsuccessful attempts at delivery we may require payment of a redelivery charge based on the original method of delivery.

     

    UK RETURNS

    We offer free UK returns using our Royal Mail tracked service on items returned to us in their original, unused and unworn condition. 

    We can accept refund requests within 14 days of your order. Before returning the item/s to us, please ensure you obtain a Returns Authorisation number by following the returns process set out below through our returns management page.

    We regret that the free UK returns offer does not apply to items that are too large for the Royal Mail service. These include travel luggage bags, baby bouncers, baby gyms, moses baskets and Cocoonababy nests. Please contact us if you wish to check whether your item is eligible for this offer.

    If your item is too large for the Royal Mail service we will contact you to agree the best return method. If you wish, we are happy to organise a courier collection for you at a cost of £9.95, which will be deducted from your refund.

     

    INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

    We can accept refund or exchange requests within 14 days of your order. If returning goods from outside the UK, please ensure the package is sent on a tracked or 'signed for' service. All returned goods remain your responsibility until they reach Me & Buddy and a refund will not be given until we have received them.

    Before returning the item/s to us, please ensure you obtain a Returns Authorisation number by following the returns process set out below through our returns management page.

     

    HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

    1. Before returning any goods to Me & Buddy, please obtain a Returns Authorisation number by following the steps on our returns management page. This is accessed by clicking HERE and entering your email address and order number. Please complete the Returns Form included in your package and write your Returns Authorisation number in the space provided.

     

    2. To process a return, we need to receive the goods back to our warehouse in their original condition, untampered with, and in their undamaged product packaging. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you. Please ensure all goods are packaged securely in their original box and packaging, ensuring all old labels are covered or removed. Parcels that are returned to us remain your responsibility until received by us and a refund will not be given until we have received them.

     

    3. For UK returns, we recommend that you send your returns using the free Royal Mail service (not available for large items such as travel luggage bags, baby bouncers, moses baskets or Cococoonababy nests) or an alternative recorded or signed for service, and that you retain proof of postage. For international returns, we recommend that you use a recorded or signed for delivery service and retain proof of postage.

     

    4. If in the UK, please visit the Me & Buddy Royal Mail tracked returns portal HERE and fill in your details to print out your returns label. Take the package to your local Post Office to receive the tracking code on the ‘proof of postage’ and to securely deposit it. Packages can take up to two working days to arrive at our warehouse. Once delivered to our warehouse, it takes up to two working days for goods to be processed.

     

    5. If goods are returned from outside the UK/EU/EEA please mark the box ‘returned goods’.

     

    6. We are not able to accept returns on any products that have been used, worn or are not in their original condition. All products must be in their original, undamaged packaging. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you. We continually monitor returns made by customers and, in certain circumstances, we reserve the right to refuse a return or to charge a returns fee based on the cost of the original delivery method.

     

    7. We can only accept return requests within 14 days of your order. Refunds can only be issued if authorised returns are received by our warehouse within 28 days of your order.

     

    8. The cost of returning goods to Me & Buddy is the responsibility of the customer. The UK free returns offer does not apply to large items such as travel luggage bags, baby bouncers, baby gyms, moses baskets and Cocoonababy nests.     10. For returns with Royal Mail, you can track the status of your return while it's on its way back to us, using the return tracking number. Once your items have reached us, we'll check your item and will send you a confirmation email. Keep in mind that it can take up to four working days between the parcel being signed for and your confirmation email being sent.

     

    11. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers. In the event of a partial order return, where items are subsequently returned such that any of the free delivery promotions would not have applied, a delivery cost of £2.95 will be deducted from any refund.

     

    12. If your original order was sent to a destination within the EU, VAT will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through Me & Buddy. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.

     

    13. If the item was faulty when you received it, please notify us as soon as possible following receipt and at the latest within 14 days of placing your order, through the returns management page accessed above. We may ask you to send us a couple of photos of the issue with the product to help us to assess your request quickly. Once we've processed your request, we will let you know how to return the item so it can be inspected by us and, possibly, the manufacturer. If, following inspection, it is confirmed that the item is faulty, we will either arrange for a repair, arrange for you to be sent a replacement, or arrange a refund if neither a repair nor replacement are possible. If, following inspection, the item is not considered to be faulty or it is apparent that it has been tampered with, we will contact you to discuss this and may return the item to you at your billing address. Me & Buddy will only refund the original cost of delivery if the item was faulty when you received it. This does not affect your statutory rights.

     

    14. We are sorry that discount codes can only be applied once to an order. Therefore, discount codes cannot be reused following the return of an item against which they were applied. 

     

    15. We cannot offer exchanges. If you wish to receive a replacement for any item, please return the unwanted item according to our returns procedure above and place a new order for the desired item.

     

    16. Any returns of gifts will result in a refund issued to the purchaser's original payment method. We regret that we cannot offer exchanges nor issue gift cards in exchange for returned gifts, however the purchaser can place another order on behalf of the recipient.
